Privacy Policy
Effective July 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Trimpulse LLC (“Trimpulse,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information when you visit trimpulse.ai, request a demo, communicate with a Trimpulse-powered receptionist or chat experience, or otherwise use our products and services (collectively, the “Services”).
1. Our role
Trimpulse controls personal information collected through this website, demo requests, our business relationships, and our own operations. When we provide a receptionist, chat, scheduling, or related service for a salon, barbershop, or other business, that business generally decides why and how its clients’ information is processed. In that context, Trimpulse processes information on the business’s behalf, subject to our agreement with that business. The business’s own privacy notice may also apply.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact and identity information, such as your name, email address, phone number, business, location, and account identifiers.
- Appointment and service information, such as requested services, preferred dates and times, provider preferences, appointment details, and information needed to respond to or fulfill a request.
- Communications, including messages, call audio when recording is enabled with required notice or consent, transcripts, summaries, and other information you provide during a phone, chat, email, support, or demo interaction.
- Business and account information, including salon or barbershop details, hours, services, staff information, operational rules, account permissions, and billing or transaction records.
- Device and usage information, such as IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, timestamps, referring pages, diagnostic events, and security logs.
- Information from others, including a Trimpulse business customer, its staff, communications providers, integrations the customer directs us to use, and other service providers.
Local storage and cookies
The trimpulse marketing site uses browser local storage to remember your light or dark theme preference. A Trimpulse-powered browser chat may also use installation-scoped local storage to remember a verified client identity for server revalidation when the chat is reopened. Our current marketing site and browser chat do not use advertising cookies. Hosting, communications, and embedded service providers may receive device and request information when their services are used.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- provide, operate, personalize, maintain, and improve the Services;
- identify clients and handle service, scheduling, and appointment requests;
- respond to demo requests, questions, support needs, and other communications;
- authenticate users, administer accounts, and enforce permissions;
- monitor reliability, troubleshoot problems, prevent fraud or abuse, and protect security;
- comply with law, enforce our agreements, and establish or defend legal claims; and
- create aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify you.
We do not use personal information for a materially different purpose without providing notice or obtaining consent when required by law.
5. Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to confirm whether we process your personal information; access, correct, or delete it; obtain a portable copy; obtain information about certain disclosures; opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or qualifying profiling; withdraw consent where processing relies on consent; and appeal a decision on your request.
Email contact@trimpulse.ai with the subject “Privacy request” to exercise a right. Tell us which right you want to exercise and your relationship with Trimpulse or the relevant business. We may need to verify your identity and authority. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
If we process your information solely for a Trimpulse business customer, we may direct your request to that business. To appeal our decision, reply to the decision email with “Privacy appeal” in the subject line and explain your concern. If an appeal is denied, Connecticut residents may contact the Connecticut Office of the Attorney General.
Because we do not currently sell personal information or use it for third-party targeted advertising, an opt-out preference signal does not change those practices. We will recognize such signals where required if our practices change.
6. Retention and security
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing the Services, honoring a business customer’s instructions, maintaining security and business records, and meeting legal obligations. Retention periods vary based on the information, the service configuration, the customer relationship, and applicable law. We may retain de-identified information that no longer reasonably identifies you.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. United States processing
Trimpulse is based in the United States. If you access the Services from another country, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other places where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your country.
8. Children’s privacy
Our website and business accounts are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through this website. A business customer may use the Services to communicate with a client who is a minor only where the business has the authority and any consent required by law. We do not sell minors’ personal information or use it for third-party targeted advertising. If you believe a child provided information directly to us without appropriate permission, please contact us.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy as our Services or legal obligations change. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date. If a change materially affects how we use personal information, we will provide additional notice when required by law.
